A Poem I'm Working On
It’s a villanelle, which I’ve discovered is actually a pretty difficult form to make work. Usually the repeated refrain just gets old. Plus you have to keep the rhyme scheme and meter going. So, I’ve decided to take some time off before I go to grad school. Pretty much every other person I’ve spoken to who has pursued an MFA has either 1. been very thankful for taking time off themselves or 2. wishes they had if they didn’t. Also, since I’m going to be here for a year and a half until Roxanne graduates, I just don’t really feel like getting my MA at Tech....
